MCParks — the biggest theme park server
MCParks is a 1:1 scale theme park server that builds everything in the correct position and angle, right down to trash cans and pathways. It hosts Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort and Universal Orlando, with ride systems powered by plugins like TrainCarts. It’s even been recognised by Guinness World Records for the most real-world theme parks recreated in a videogame.
Once you’re on the network, you move between resorts with server commands such as /server WDW for Walt Disney World. The community is active on Discord, where you’ll find event schedules, show times and updates.
How to join a Disney World Minecraft server
These servers run on Minecraft: Java Edition (PC, Mac and Linux).
- Launch Minecraft: Java Edition and choose a supported version (most servers accept a range of recent versions).
- Click Multiplayer > Add Server.
- Enter a name (e.g. “MCParks”) and the server address, such as main.mcparks.us.
- Click Done, then select the server and click Join Server.
- Read the welcome message and rules, then use the server’s commands or menus to warp to a park.
Playing on Bedrock (console, phone, Windows Bedrock)? Most of these servers are Java-only. Check each server’s website — a few theme park servers add Bedrock support through a proxy.
Tips for a better visit
- Turn on music and sound. Many rides and shows have synced audio through an audio client or resource pack — the server will prompt you to connect.
- Accept the resource pack for custom textures, animatronics and signage.
- Check the events calendar on Discord for fireworks, parades and live shows.
- Use optimisation mods like Sodium (Fabric) if large parks lag on your PC.
- Be respectful. Theme park servers are family-friendly communities with strict chat rules.
Is it safe for kids?
The established servers above are moderated and family-friendly, but they’re still public online spaces. For younger players:
- Keep chat filters on and talk to kids about not sharing personal information.
- Only download resource packs and audio clients from the server’s official website.
- Avoid any “free ranks” or “free Minecraft” offers — they’re scams.
Build your own Disney park in Minecraft
